Wedding Chicago Provides Valuable Resources to Frantic Brides
Author:
Alison Rodriguez
Many married women will tell you that planning a wedding, is a full-time job in itself. Not only does the couple need to decide on a wedding vision, but, they also have to meet with dozens of wedding vendors spread all over the Chicagoland area.
This year, however, you can hear the collective sigh of relief from brides all over the Midwest, thanks to Wedding Chicago's Alison Rodriguez. "This is the first show of its kind in Chicago. The backdrop is the magical Café Brauer (in the Lincoln Park Zoo) and brides will be able to speak to over thirty wedding professionals. They will get a chance to meet wedding experts and attend workshops that will help them plan a very personalized wedding," said Rodriguez.
The Wedding Chicago Bridal Show will take place on Sunday, February 26th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chicago's beloved Café Brauer (2021 N. Stockton Drive, Chicago, IL). Stylists from Nicole Miller will treat guests to a fashion presentation featuring designs from their bridal collection. Makeup artists from Mac Cosmetics will provide bridal makeovers, while guests listen to the musical stylings of Dave Ivaz Music and the flute & harp duo, Abellimento. Several brides will win valuable door prizes from a variety of Chicagoland wedding professionals. WeddingChicago.com will provide complimentary valet parking for all attendees. Hors d'oeuvres will also be served.
Rodriguez has been called a wedding expert by many and she will be the first to tell you that "there are tons of cattle-call wedding expos, but very few bridal events that celebrate Chicago. The Wedding Chicago Bridal Show will give brides and couples the tools they'll need to create a special wedding anywhere in the Chicagoland area."
Reservations are recommended. Brides can order tickets to this event WeddingChicago.com.

How To Choose The Right Music For Your Wedding |
|
The great American wedding has come a long way over the years. In a society that is made up of people from so many different cultures, lifestyles, religions, and backgrounds, it is no surprise that the traditions in the wedding ceremony are as vastly different as well. Wedding music is no exception. From the ceremony itself to the party atmosphere of the reception, the wedding music sets the tone for the event. Traditional Wedding Music At most weddings we can expect to hear selections that have come to be known as traditional wedding music. Titles like Ave Maria, the Minuet from Don Giovanni, and, of course, The Bridal Chorus and The Wedding March have long been the standard music for a wedding. Particularly religious ceremonies may include hymns like Amazing Grace and a Jewish wedding almost always includes a hora danced to a medley of tunes like Hava Nagila, and Siman Tov U Mazeltov.
